1. Purpose, Scope, and Legal Standing
This Refund & Return Policy (“Policy”) governs the conditions under which customers may withdraw from a contract, return products, and obtain refunds for purchases made through karenyosh.com (“Website”, “KarenYosh”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Policy is drafted in strict alignment with European Union consumer protection law, including but not limited to Directive 2011/83/EU, Directive (EU) 2019/771, and their implementation under Spanish Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007. It applies in particular to consumers domiciled in Spain, who benefit from mandatory, non-waivable statutory protections.
Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted as limiting, excluding, or conditioning any consumer right that cannot be lawfully restricted under EU or Spanish law.
2. Definition of “Consumer”
For the purposes of this Policy, a “consumer” means any natural person acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft, or profession, in accordance with EU consumer law.
Business-to-business transactions may be subject to different terms and are not covered by this Policy unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU & Spain)
3.1 Withdrawal Period
Consumers located in Spain and the European Union have the legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) calendar days, without providing any reason and without incurring penalties.
The withdrawal period begins on the day the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods.
3.2 Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify KarenYosh of their decision by means of a clear and unequivocal statement, sent before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

3.3 Effects of Withdrawal
Upon valid withdrawal:
The consumer must return the goods without undue delay
KarenYosh shall reimburse payments received from the consumer, subject to lawful deductions
Refunds shall be issued using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed
4. Extended Commercial Return Policy (30 Days)
In addition to statutory rights, KarenYosh offers a commercial return period of thirty (30) days from the date of delivery.
This extended return period:
Is voluntary
Does not replace statutory rights
Applies only where not prohibited by law
Is subject to the conditions outlined below
5. Conditions for Acceptable Returns
Returned items must, unless otherwise required by law:
Be unused and unaltered
Be in substantially the same condition as delivered
Include original packaging, accessories, and documentation
Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase
KarenYosh reserves the right, as permitted by EU law, to apply a reduction in refund value where the goods show signs of handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
6. Exclusions and Legal Exceptions
Where permitted by law, the right of withdrawal may not apply to:
Fully performed services where execution began with consumer consent
Customized or personalized goods
Digital content supplied after performance has begun
Any applicable exclusion will be disclosed prior to purchase.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
Consumers must report any of the following within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery:
Damaged goods
Defective items
Incorrect or missing products
Reports must be submitted to [email protected] and should include supporting evidence (e.g., photographs).
This reporting window does not affect statutory conformity rights under EU law.
8. Return Authorization and Logistics
Returns must not be sent without prior communication with KarenYosh. Instructions for return shipping will be provided after initial contact.
Unauthorized returns may be delayed or rejected, subject to consumer law obligations.
9. Inspection and Approval Process
All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt.
Inspection & Approval Period: approximately 15–45 business days
KarenYosh will notify the consumer of the outcome once the inspection is complete.
10. Refunds
10.1 Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are processed within approximately 15–45 business days following inspection and approval.
This timeframe includes administrative handling and payment provider settlement cycles.
10.2 Method of Refund
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise or unless required by law.
11. Allocation of Return Costs
Unless the return is due to:
A lack of conformity
A defective or incorrect product
…the consumer may be responsible for the direct cost of return shipping, in accordance with EU law.
12. Dispute Resolution
Consumers in Spain and the EU may access Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013.
13. Policy Amendments
KarenYosh reserves the right to update this Policy to reflect legal or operational changes. Updates take effect upon publication on the Website, without prejudice to existing consumer rights.
